SIUC Solicitation Report
Solicitation Reports are used as part of the procedure in the soliciting, handling, and reporting of instructional staff assignments. The data being collected provides the Office of Records and Registration with the Dawg Tag and name of the instructors involved in the direct instruction of the course sections being taught each semester. That information is then used for the distribution of class lists, grade solicit sheets, and as a source for contacting instructors of particular sections if needed.
Institutional Research and Studies receives the data collected from Records and Registration and merges it with enrollment data, credit hours data, and faculty statistical report data to calculate the various parts of the annual unit cost study. The unit cost reports are used at the University in various planning and budgetary considerations, in addition to being an important part of the reporting to the Illinois Board of Higher Education. Please make sure all information reported is correct and complete.
